My vision

No easy way to say this so I’m gonna just say it

20 years ago I was sexually assaulted. I was 10 years old…so I pretended it never happened. 

I pretended it was a bad dream. That it didn’t affect me. I carried that pain, fear, anger, and shame for so long it became normal. 

And now (with the help of my community)  I’ve realized that this is all perfectly designed for me. My purpose is now to end sexual assault in the world and I’ve been redesigning my life to live that purpose.

And I can’t do it alone. 1 in women are sexually assaulted. 1 in 5 men. Those are reported stats - actuals are likely much higher. This affects us all. 

So my community and I are partnering with Asian Family Support Services of Austin to build a serenity space for clients, children and the staff. We are also raising $77,000 over the next two weeks to expand the impact of creating safety, joy and belonging as soon as they walk in.
